Ingredients
Salad
5-6heirloom tomatoes in a variety of colorscut into 1" wedges or halved then sliced
12fresh basil leavesjulienned
1ballburrata cheese
Balsamic Vinaigrette
¼cupbalsamic vinegar
1teaspoonhoney
1garlic clovegrated
2teaspoonsDijon mustard
½teaspoonsea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
⅓cupextra-virgin olive oil
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients for the balsamic vinaigrette into a jar. Shake virogorusly until all combined. If you don't have a jar, combine all of the ingredients except for the olive oil in a bowl. Slowly pour olive oil into the mixture, whisking until the oil is emulsified.
Toss the cut tomatoes with the basil. Arrange tomatoes on a large plate. Place hunks of burrata nestled into the tomatoes. Pour the vinaigrette over the top and enjoy!
Notes
This salad is best enjoyed right after being made. Leftovers: If you have leftovers, place in an airtight container in the refrigerator. It'll be delicious but the texture of the tomatoes and cheese will be different. The salad will be good for up to two days.
