Did you really have a childhood if you didn't sell fresh lemonade in the neighborhood, hoping to earn a few bucks to spend on pogs and beanie babies? My kids are at the age where they are looking for all of the ways to earn money as the capitalist world has cast quite the impression on them.
Imagine your favorite lemonade but made better by fresh pureed peaches. Hello, summertime!

I'm not a stranger to peach drinks (mostly they're spiked with alcohol though!). My favorites are a summertime peach mojito or this peach bourbon cocktail with rosemary.

Ingredients You'll Need
The only ingredients you'll need to make fresh peach lemonade are:
- fresh peaches - Go with ripe, ready-to-eat peaches. The juicier, the better!
- lemons - It tastes better when you're using fresh lemons. You will need about 5 or 6 lemons to get 1 cup of juice.
- granulated sugar - Use granulated sugar with water to make a simple syrup. This makes the lemonade sweet without being overly sweet.
- water
How to Make Peach Lemonade: It's ALl About the Ratio
Making the best peach lemonade is easy when you are using the proper ratios of ingredients. Here are the steps for making 8 glass of refreshing peach lemonade:
Step 1: Make a simple syrup.
You do this by simply combing sugar and water together over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let this cool while you puree the peaches. Making a simple syrup for your lemonade ensures you don't taste any of the granulated sugar's grittiness when you're drinking.
Step 2: Puree the peaches.
Place peaches in a food processor or blender and blend until completely smooth. Try not to drink peach puree by itself. You need every last bit of this for the lemonade!

Step 3: Combine everything.
Mix the simple syrup with the peach puree and freshly squeezed lemons.
Step 4: Enjoy over ice.
If you're making in advance, place in the refrigerator (without the ice) until you're ready to serve.
Make it Into a Peach Arnold Palmer
A traditional Arnold Palmer is made up of half lemonade, half iced tea. This peach lemonade would be perfect with some iced tea to make a peach Arnold Palmer!
Time Saving Trick
You can use store-bought lemon juice if you absolutely must. I highly recommend you use fresh lemons though. It tastes fresher IMHO.

Storage
Storing the peach puree: You can make the peach puree in advance, if necessary. Add 1 Tablespoon of additional lemon juice so the peach puree's color stays as vibrant orange as possible.
Store the lemonade in the refrigerator until you're ready to serve. Then serve over ice. The lemonade will stay fresh for up to five days.
